The Process
When you choose to build with S & R Construction Inc., we will guide you through the entire process and make it exciting, easy, and fun. We build many 40 homes each year, so we’re able to provide visual examples that allow your ideas to become reality. We bet you’re wondering how everything comes together, right? Initial Consultation
No matter what you have in mind, the initial meeting is a complimentary opportunity to brainstorm with our team. We’ll talk through your ideas and general budget, share some thoughts of our own, and together, decide if there’s an opportunity to collaborate.

Finalizing Details
When you decide that S & R Construction Inc. is the Iowa home builder for you, we’ll work extensively to determine how we can get you the best new home possible. With professional realtor services, we can also help sell your old home! We hate surprises as much as you do, so we pay special attention to all the details as we prepare finalized details and overall pricing.

Selection Meeting
After the details are clearly explained and a Purchase Agreement is signed, you’ll be introduced to the members of our team that will guide you smoothly through the entire home building process. Together, we’ll prepare a precise layout of the entire construction process, timelines, and quality materials to be used throughout your new home. With our years of experience, we will help you choose items that match your style and fit within your budget. Construction Begins
As selections are made and building plans are finalized, you’ll be notified as your new home construction gets underway. On average, residential home construction takes three to six months and we understand that communication is key, so we work to really explain how things are progressing throughout the entire build.

Final Touches
As your new house begins to look more like home, the excitement of seeing everything come to life begins! Our team will continue to communicate progress, while also touring you through the home to talk through your preferences and ensure the selections made before construction are still in-line with your final preferences. As your flooring, paint choices, appliances, cabinetry, and overall interior design comes together, our team will make any final tweaks before we work through closing on the home and hand you the keys to your brand new home. From there, all you have to do is enjoy the home of your dreams!
